Working Principle

LPG is a colourless, odourless gas that settles on the ground. Ethyl Mercaptan is added to it to identify any leaking. The Lpg Gas Leakage Detectorin Mumbai is a wall-mounted device that is installed near to the floor level and has a 20 percent Lower Explosive Limit warning setting. When a leak occurs, the in-built sensor detects it and informs the user in less than 5 minutes, far before any mishaps occur. As a result, the user is able to take rapid corrective action to avert any unfavorable situations.

 

Two or more gas sensors are used in this approach to detect leakage at two or more points surrounding the gas tube and its distribution line. The WSN system is based on the MQ-6 gas sensor and the Bluetooth HC-05 wireless module. The alarm/buzzer, exhaust fan, and automated gas regulator are all used in the explosion protection system. If there is a gas leak, the sensor will communicate data to Arduino wirelessly.

 

Then the system for preventing explosions will be triggered. The system will activate the alarm/buzzer, release the gas regulator automatically, and neutralize the air using the exhaust fan. The Arduino platform will be used to control both systems.
